Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Olimp Manager ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices.
1. Information Collection and Use
1.1 Data Collection & Analytics
This app uses third-party analytics services to help us improve our app, understand how users interact with it, and measure app performance. These services collect information such as:
- Device information (model, manufacturer, operating system version)
- App usage statistics (features accessed, session duration)
- Technical diagnostic data (crash reports, performance metrics)
- Installation source and campaign attribution data
We use the following third-party analytics and service providers:
- AppsFlyer: For attribution and analytics services, including tracking app installation sources and campaign effectiveness. AppsFlyer Privacy Policy
- Firebase (Google): For push notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and app analytics. Firebase Privacy Policy
This app may also use additional analytics services in the future:
Important: We do not control the privacy practices of third-party analytics services. Please review their privacy policies to understand how they collect, use, and share your information.
1.2 Third-Party Advertisements and Links
This app may display advertisements or contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third parties. When you click on an advertisement or external link, you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
1.3 Camera & Media Access
This app may request camera and storage permissions to provide the following functionality:
- QR Code Scanning: Used for team check-in functionality at tournament venues. If you prefer not to grant camera permission, you can enter codes manually.
- Contact Form Photo Attachment: When using the in-app contact or support form, you may attach photos to your report. The camera is accessed through the web browser component to capture photos for support requests.
- Gallery Access: Enables selection of existing photos from your device gallery for articles, documentation, and support requests.
How We Handle Your Photos:
- Photos you select from the gallery are stored locally on your device in the app's private directory
- Photo file paths and metadata are saved in the local database
- Photos remain on your device and are not automatically uploaded to our servers
- Photos attached to support requests are transmitted to our servers only when you explicitly submit the contact form
- You have full control over which photos to select and when to delete them
Sharing Your Photos: You can choose to share photos using the built-in share function, which allows you to send images to other apps installed on your device (such as messaging apps, email, or social media). When you share photos, the receiving app's privacy policy applies to how they handle your images.
Managing Permissions: You can revoke camera and storage permissions at any time through your device settings (Settings > Apps > Olimp Manager > Permissions). Revoking these permissions will prevent QR scanning and photo attachment features from working, but other app functionality will remain available.
1.4 Advertising & Device Identifiers
To provide analytics, measure app performance, and understand user acquisition sources, this app collects and processes certain device identifiers:
Identifiers We Collect:
- Google Advertising ID (GAID): A unique, user-resettable identifier for advertising and analytics purposes provided by Google Play Services
- AppsFlyer User ID: A unique identifier assigned by our attribution partner to track app installation sources and campaign effectiveness
- Installation Source: Information about where you downloaded the app (e.g., Google Play Store, direct APK)
- Device Information: Device model, manufacturer, operating system version, and app version
Purpose of Collection: These identifiers help us:
- Understand which marketing campaigns are most effective
- Measure app performance and user engagement
- Identify and fix technical issues
- Improve overall app experience based on usage patterns
Third-Party Processing: Device identifiers are processed by AppsFlyer, our attribution and analytics partner. Please review AppsFlyer's Privacy Policy to understand their data handling practices.
Your Advertising Choices: You have control over advertising tracking:
- Reset Advertising ID: Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID
- Opt Out of Personalized Ads: Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
- Delete Advertising ID: On Android 12+, you can delete your advertising ID entirely in the same settings menu
Important: Opting out of advertising personalization or resetting your advertising ID will not affect the core functionality of this app. These identifiers are used solely for analytics and attribution, not for app features.
1.5 WebView & External Content
This app uses an embedded web browser component (WebView) to display certain content, including this privacy policy and potentially other web-based features.
WebView Functionality:
- This privacy policy is loaded from our web server at https://basketmatch1941.click/privacy/
- The WebView component can execute JavaScript for enhanced functionality
- The app is configured to allow cleartext HTTP connections for compatibility purposes
- WebView may use cookies and local storage for functional purposes
External Content Loading: When viewing content through the WebView, you are connecting to our web server (basketmatch1941.click). This connection may transmit basic information such as:
- Your IP address (automatically provided by your internet connection)
- Device user agent string (browser/device identification)
- Page views and access timestamps (standard web server logs)
Data Collection: While most app functionality is local-only, the WebView component operates as a web browser and is subject to standard web tracking practices. We use this component minimally and only for displaying policy documents and essential web content.
1.6 Personal Information Storage
When you use this app to manage basketball tournaments, you may enter personal information about various individuals involved in the tournament. This information is stored locally on your device and includes:
Types of Personal Information:
- Team Contacts: Names, phone numbers, and email addresses of team representatives
- Player Information: Player names, jersey numbers, and performance statistics
- Scout Notes: Observations, ratings, and comments about individual players or teams
- Referee Data: Referee names, contact information, and assignment schedules
- Incident Reports: Names of individuals involved in incidents, disputes, or rule violations
- Venue Staff: Names and roles of venue managers and operational staff
Your Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from individuals before entering their personal information into this app
- You must comply with applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction when collecting and processing personal data
- If you are managing youth tournaments, you may need parental consent before recording information about minors
- You should inform individuals about how their information will be used and stored
Data Storage: All personal information is stored in an unencrypted local SQLite database on your device. The data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it using the app's sharing features.
Data Controller: When you enter personal information about third parties into this app, you become the data controller for that information under privacy laws like GDPR. We provide the app as a tool, but you are responsible for lawful data processing.
1.7 Data Sharing & Export
This app provides functionality to generate reports and share tournament data with others. Understanding how this works is important for protecting personal information.
PDF Report Generation:
- The app can generate PDF reports containing tournament statistics, schedules, and operational data
- These reports may contain personal information such as team contacts, player names, referee assignments, and incident reports
- PDF reports are generated locally on your device using the tournament data stored in your local database
Share Functionality:
- You can share generated PDFs and photos using your device's built-in share menu
- When you share content, you choose which app receives the data (email, messaging, cloud storage, etc.)
- Once you share data to another app, that app's privacy policy governs how they handle the information
- We do not control or have visibility into what happens to data after you share it
Important Considerations:
- Before sharing reports containing personal information, ensure you have permission to share that data
- Be cautious about sharing reports to public channels or unsecured platforms
- Recipients of shared reports can further redistribute the information
- Consider redacting sensitive information before sharing if appropriate
Your Control: You decide what to share, when to share it, and with whom. Sharing is always an explicit action that you initiate—the app never automatically uploads or shares your data.
1.8 Push Notifications
This app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications to your device. Push notifications help you stay informed about important updates, announcements, and relevant information.
How Push Notifications Work:
- Permission Request: On Android 13 and later, the app will request notification permission. You can choose to allow or deny this permission.
- FCM Token: When you grant notification permission, your device receives a unique FCM token. This token is used to deliver notifications specifically to your device.
- Topic Subscription: The app automatically subscribes to notification topics based on your device's language settings to deliver localized content.
Data Transmitted for Notifications:
- FCM device token (unique identifier for notification delivery)
- Device language/locale (for topic-based notification targeting)
- App installation identifier
Your Control:
- You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings (Settings > Apps > Olimp Manager > Notifications)
- Disabling notifications will not affect other app functionality
- You can manage notification preferences within the app settings if available
Push notification services are provided by Google Firebase. Please review the Firebase Privacy Policy for information on how Google processes notification data.
2. Calendar & Reminders
This app may allow you to save events, schedules, and reminders to your device's system calendar. When this feature is used:
- All calendar data remains stored locally on your device
- Calendar information is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties
- You maintain full control over calendar permissions through your device settings
- You can revoke calendar access at any time without affecting other app functionality
We use calendar access solely to enhance your tournament management experience by allowing you to schedule matches, set reminders for important events, and integrate tournament schedules with your personal calendar.
3. Location & Navigation Services
This app may request GPS location access to provide navigation and mapping features, including:
- Venue location and directions
- Court and facility mapping
- Distance calculations and route planning
- Location-based notifications for tournament events
Our Location Data Practice: When location services are enabled, we do not collect, store, or transmit your location data to our servers. Location information is processed locally on your device only.
However, if the app uses third-party mapping services, those services may have their own data collection practices. Please review their privacy policies:
Disclaimer: While we do not collect your navigation or location data, if the app uses these third-party mapping services, they may collect location information according to their own privacy practices. We recommend reviewing their policies to understand their data handling procedures.
You can control location permissions through your device settings and disable location services at any time.
4. Fitness & Health Data
This app may allow you to input and track personal fitness and health-related information, including but not limited to:
- Height and weight measurements
- Workout and training session data
- Performance metrics and statistics
- Physical activity logs
- Other health-related metrics relevant to basketball training
Local Storage Only: When you choose to use these features:
- All fitness and health data is stored exclusively on your local device
- This information is not transmitted to our servers or any remote systems
- Data is not shared with third parties or other users
- Information is not synchronized across multiple devices
Your Control: You maintain complete control over your fitness and health data:
- You can delete this data at any time through the app's settings
- Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data from your device
- No backup copies are retained on external servers
5. Local Data Storage
The app stores various types of information locally on your device to provide functionality, including:
- Tournament schedules and match data
- Team rosters and player information
- User preferences and app settings
- Scout notes and observations
- Operational reports and statistics
All locally stored data remains on your device and is not automatically transmitted to external servers unless you explicitly choose to export or share specific information.
6. Offline Functionality
This app is designed with offline-first functionality, meaning most features work without an internet connection. Data you create and manage within the app remains on your device. Internet connectivity may be required only for:
- Downloading app updates
- Accessing third-party analytics services (if enabled)
- Using mapping and navigation features (if applicable)
- Manually exporting or sharing data you choose to share
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Since most data is stored locally on your device, we recommend:
- Using device-level security features (screen lock, encryption)
- Keeping your device's operating system updated
- Being cautious about sharing your device with others
- Regularly backing up important data using your device's backup features
8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
This app may be used to manage youth basketball tournaments, which often involve children under 13 years of age. We take children's privacy seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requirements.
8.1 Information About Children
Types of Children's Information That May Be Stored:
- Player names and jersey numbers
- Performance statistics and game data
- Team roster information
- Scout observations and notes
- Photos from tournament games (if captured by tournament organizers)
Important: If you (the tournament organizer or app user) enter information about children under 13 into this app, you are responsible for obtaining verifiable parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing that information.
8.2 Parental Consent Requirements
If you are managing tournaments involving children under 13:
- Obtain written consent from parents/guardians before entering children's personal information
- Inform parents about what information will be collected and how it will be used
- Provide parents with the opportunity to review and delete their child's information
- Do not condition participation in the tournament on collecting more information than necessary
8.3 Parental Rights
Parents and legal guardians have the right to:
- Review: Request to see what information has been collected about their child
- Delete: Request deletion of their child's personal information from the app
- Refuse Further Collection: Prohibit further collection or use of their child's information
- Consent Withdrawal: Withdraw previously given consent at any time
To exercise these rights, parents should contact the tournament organizer who entered the information, or contact us at [email protected] for assistance.
8.4 Direct Collection from Children
This app is designed for use by tournament organizers, coaches, and administrators—not for direct use by children. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or directly input their own information. If we discover that a child under 13 has independently provided personal information without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.
8.5 Age Gate Recommendation
While this app does not currently implement an age verification mechanism, we strongly recommend that tournament organizers:
- Verify the age of app users before granting access to manage youth tournaments
- Ensure only authorized adults (coaches, organizers, parents) have access to children's information
- Use device-level parental controls to prevent unauthorized access by children
8.6 Third-Party Services and Children
We do not use third-party advertising or marketing services that target children. Analytics data collected via AppsFlyer is not knowingly collected from children's devices, as the app is intended for adult organizers only.
Notice to Parents: If you have questions or concerns about your child's information in this app, or if you believe your child has independently provided information without consent, please contact us immediately at [email protected].
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

14.1 Local Data Retention
Indefinite Local Storage: Data you create in this app (tournaments, teams, matches, photos, etc.) is stored locally on your device indefinitely. We do not automatically delete this data because:
- You may need historical tournament records

Automatic Cleanup: The app does not implement automatic data expiration or archival. All data persists until you explicitly delete it.
14.2 Analytics Data Retention
Analytics data processed by third parties is retained as follows:
